For her third exhibition at Albarrán Bourdais Madrid, Angelika Markul presents her new film project, Haunted House, which explores the medieval castle of Fourgeret, considered the most haunted in France.

With this new work, Markul continues to explore themes such as the memory of a place, time, creation, and destruction, blending science and fiction to construct myths that address fundamental questions.

Haunted houses are said to preserve the memories of those who have passed through them and have long been a source of countless ghost stories. Using the most spectral medium—film—Markul weaves connections between past and present.
