Jorge González
Jorge González, (b. Puerto Rico, 1981) received his BFA from the Escuela de ArtesVisuales de Puerto Rico in 2006. His residencies include Beta-Local, San Juan in (2012)and the Davidoff Residency Program in Bogotá (2017). He has exhibited internationallyincluding at the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña (2014), Die Ecke (2015) in Chile,Kunsthalle Osnabruek, Germany (2015), and SITELines (2016). González participated in thepedagogical program for documenta 14, Kassel, Germany, Under the Mango Tree: Sites ofLearning, organized by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen). In 2018, González participatedin Pacha, Llacta, Wasichay, Building the Indigenous Present at The Whitney Museum ofAmerican Art, New York, in 2019 he was invited to exhibit at the Chicago ArchitectureBiennial, in 2021 at the Toronto Biennial and has recently won the Jane Lombard 2020-2022 Fellowship.
